About Román

Watercolorist, professional portrait artist, and photographer; among a variety of
painting techniques he handles. He studied art at the National School of Fine Arts
in Honduras.

He is a workshop instructor for drawing and painting, and has led community mural projects in various cities in the United States and Honduras. From the beginning, he has been committed to clarity in painting, which is expressed in his own artistic style, and is reflected in the satisfaction of his clients.

He has successfully exhibited in the best galleries in Honduras as well as abroad in cities such as Washington DC, Houston Texas, Knoxville Tennessee, Miami, Grand Island Nebraska, Lincoln Nebraska, Haisting Nebraska, Queens New York, Chicago Illinois, and Madrid.

For more than two decades, with his graphic art, he has participated in important
advertising campaigns for the most prestigious companies in Honduras.
Notable projects include the design of the uniform worn by Honduran athletes at
the opening of the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games. He won second place in the National Art Salon 2018, received an Honorable Mention in the National Art Salon 2022, and a special recognition at the Extra Awards 2022 for his career.

He is a member of Honduras Global, and his works are exhibited at Portinari
Gallery in Tegucigalpa, Maymó Gallery in San Pedro Sula, Lavinchy Gallery
Honduras, Waves of Art in Roatán, K Studio Art Center in Grand Island, Nebraska, and Miami FL, United States.
